Government Scrappage Scheme Extended

The government has announced that the  scrappage scheme has been extended until the end of March or sooner if funds run out. If you own a car over 10 years old and you have have it of over 12 months, you've got a bit longer  to take advantage of the £2,000 scrappage payment and drive away in a brand new MINI.

Business Secretary Lord Mandelson said: "If you’re considering buying a new car, you should place your order as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, because the budget is strictly limited."
